Most of these poems were written over the course of one year during my super-passionate-purple-prose days. Back then, I attended weekly poetry readings with my peers. I held these suckers to the ranks of ancient texts. They were all I had to offer. Sure, now they seem contrived, dated, hyperbolic, and ridiculous, but they do hold a certain spot in my heart. So read them, snicker, love 'em or hate 'em, they're mine forever, and I like it that way.

Major renovations to ensue shortly. The old standards are getting bland.
