They always gave us meat
The nights we drove to the cemetary

The time your car stalled at Big Lots
And I laugh-cried for thirty minutes straight
When you pulled my shirt down in front the Amish
When you tucked me in at night
You let me lay my head in your lap in Mississippi
After 10 packets of Twang and a Half-bottle of Maalox
When you drug me Houston rally
When you wrote me my song
If I was crying you held me
We looked like fucking twins
All the times I went to band practice
Or to FUUCNO lockins
All the school dances
Jazz Fest
Allowing me to drool over 412
Rocking to your folk's albums
The park we would chill at
When I forced you to watch Sopranos
Or listened to Bob Dylan
Or read my essays
When we watched porn
And almost died en route to JCDC's
Or you took my black & white pictures
Helped me rearrange my room
When you wouldn't stop looking at my short hair
After the Madonna t-shirt
Or the theme song dance
The time we got drunk at Tiki
